Tips for successful multilingual marketing

Today’s guest post is a bit different than what is normally covered on this site. I was approached a few weeks back by Nora Zavalczki from Lingo24 (a company that does translation services) asking if they could write an article for my blog in exchange for a link.
I said as long as the article is high quality and related to online business that would be fine. The article below is definitely different in tone and style but the content is interesting and relevant. So…have a read and weigh …

10 Ways to Get Greater Response from Your Website

This is a question I have been hearing a lot lately. How can I get more people to respond to my website? This is a good question and one I’m sure I’ll keep hearing until the internet goes away or I croak.
Much of it depends on the website. Take this site for instance. It’s like pulling teeth to get any of you readers to do anything. Why am I saying that? I’ll tell you.
About three or four posts ago I had a challenge (which is still open here) where I …

How to Start Your Own Membership Site (part 3)

I just wanted to keep you updated. I am still working on my membership site but things are progressing slowly as I have been busy with copy, design, and consulting gigs lately.
Anyhow, a couple of things.
First, remember in part one I said that I was trying to find affordable video hosting. I have over a hundred videos and they take up about 8 gigs of space. I purchased a couple of years of Godaddy Grid Hosting but recently discovered an even better solution. Amazon’s S3 service offers incredibly low cost …

Publish Your Own Book Through…Kinkos?

Let me tell you a story. Shortly after I published my books and people caught wind of what I was doing something happened. Everyone I talked to who learned that I had published a couple of books started telling me that all their lives they wanted to write and publish a book too.
Most people never got beyond the talking stage. But…one of my colleagues James put something together.
I remember talking with him one day and him telling me he had a friend who did…ballsack tricks. Wait…I know. I thought to …

Well, do you want to make sales or not?

I have been on the buying end of a lot of business to business sales lately. Throughout this process I have been thinking about why I choose one company over another. These insights into my own behavior as a consumer remind me of qualities and traits I need to be conscious of when I am the one trying to make a sale.
Let me give you a little background on the situation. Over the past few months I have been working with a company that is developing a monthly online subscription …

Why not start a membership site?

Membership sites can be a great way to earn recurring income each month. Nearly everyone has something they can teach that people are interested in. But, even if you don’t have something you feel comfortable teaching you can always find something you want to learn,  hire someone to teach you and then record the process with audio and video and turn it into content for your site.
We have four magazine subscriptions. Half the time I don’t even look at them. I find myself going online  because the content is more …

If you are going to be an entrepreneur or solopreneur you’ve got to be a leader.  You are captain at the helm and unless you steer your ship nobody will steer it for you.
I see people buying course after course, waiting for one of those courses to have some magic formula that propels them toward instant success. It just doesn’t work that way, and the more I have thought about why people fail in their businesses or fail to make the most from courses they buy the more I think …

Most people who pay $500 per month for a membership program have the same questions. Even if you make good money you don’t what to give it away for nothing. So, what would make a membership program worth $500 per month?
I signed up for Armand Morin’s AM2.0 program a couple of months back. I’ll be honest, the only reason I joined was because I thought I would get a free ticket to his “Big Seminar” in Vegas over the 6th,7th, and 8th of November.  I figured I would sign up …

About a month or so ago I thought I would conduct an experiment to see if the directory submission service offered by WLMarketing would improve my page rank, traffic, or backlinks.
First of all, If you think I am going to give you a phony review with an affiliate link to WLMarketing you’re wrong. I’ll be honest, I would if I thought the service was of any real value but at this point I feel the $105 dollars I spent was a waste of money.
I signed up for the following …

I know there are a lot of you out there not making squat. You try this and that but you can’t seem to squeeze even $1 lousy dollar from your efforts.
Could this be because you aren’t really doing much? Are you always in the forums and looking for some magic formula or some piece of software that is going to make you rich overnight? Sorry friend’s it just doesn’t work like that.
Today, I talked to Darin from Adsense Strategies and Internet Marketing Tips (which is a great site by the …
