Wordpress Tutorial #3, Adding Themes and Plugins Using FTP, and Overview of Customization.

Here’s another video to help you get more familiar with using WordPress. This is the last in this series unless someone writes in and requests another one.

Sorry…I tried to keep this from being to boring but…It just isn’t that fun sitting at your computer watching some guy give you a tutorial.

I hope this tutorial encourages you to play around with WordPress because it can be a lot of fun. If you do decide to make changes to your themes just make sure you have a backup copy of the original theme in case you mess something up.

Before you waste any time watching this video let me tell you what it covers. This video covers installing themes and plugins. It also discusses the WP menu items including Posts, Media, Pages, Links, and Appearance.

There is a brief overview towards the 3/4 mark that talks about how WordPress basically works from a design and customization standpoint. Keep in mind this is only an overview and hopefully gives you some further knowledge you can expand on later.
